Human Parasites Make The Big Time

Finally, Confirmation From The Media

You know, I usually feel lucky when people believe my seemingly far-fetched ideas about improving their health.

More than a few times I have told a client I had found some rare parasite in one of their organs that is native to [INSERT LOCALITY HERE]. Then their reply would be something like “Well that’s impossible. I haven’t been there since I was in the Peace Corps 23 years ago.”

Nobody likes to think they play host to foreign critters. But it IS a reality.

I don’t have cable or satellite, so I won’t be able to watch the new show “Monsters Inside Us” from Animal Planet. It’s supposed to use special effects and animation to illustrate a variety of parasitic infections, the same sort of thing used on CSI. If my information is correct, actual cases will be documented, and personal experiences revealed.

I’m pretty sure it will be rather dramatic. Ratings, you know.

But I am already taking comfort in knowing that a good number of folks will be watching, and thinking, “You know, maybe she wasn’t nuts after all…”
